Faces aren't flawless, skin can lack or have too much pigments, or have blemishes, scars and other minute imperfections. Happily, these flaws can be masked by make-up.
This is a systematic guide to get a flawless face. Imperfections range from tiny to large and the amount of make-up needed for the transformation depends entirely on the amount of coverage needed. These directions are a general guide for those with moderate skin imperfections. The amount of make-up can be lessened or heightened to meet specific needs.
Why Worry About A Flawless Complexion?
While there is no skin quality requirement, imperfections tend to make people insecure. Through make-up these insecurities can be put to rest. Make-up is also a less extreme alternative to major skin alteration options such as plastic surgery which can prove to be more of a hassle than not. Make-up is less dangerous and can be altered and reversed if mistakes are made. So there are many benefits.

Steps To Skin Perfection
Again, skin types vary (i.e. dry, oily, acne, etc) so be sure to gave the severity of skin imperfection and apply make-up accordingly.
Wash the face! Washing the face is essential in attempting to keep skin clear of pesky blemishes and it also helps prime the facial canvas for make-up.
Then, apply a bronzer. This won't change the skin's color, it will just give it a healthy glow, which will come in handy later when the foundations and powders come into play. It will help make sure that the skin doesn't become too washed out.
Next, apply moisturizer. If the skin is oily, avoid moisturizing those areas, but moist skin is a key component in applying make-up.
mmediately after applying the moisturizer, squeeze a small amount of foundation onto the fingertips and apply it to the face. (Note: A make-up sponge may be substituted in place of the fingers, but using the fingers helps warm the make-up to ensure it's blending with the skin.)
Now it's time for cover-up. Make sure to dab some cover-up on any pink skin blemishes. Also, on the upper eyelids and the triangular area from the corner of the eyes over to the bottom of the nose. This will make the surface of the face appear flat instead of puffy. Also, in women, make sure to use some on the corners of the nose and around the mouth if reddening occurs in those areas. It can also be used to highlight the bridge of the nose and make it appear longer if that sort of effect is desired.
Then set with powder. Use a blush brush to apply a light coat of powder to the entire face.
This is the basic flat finish. The next section concentrates on highlighting the face to enhance the natural contours or create them if they are absent.
Use a highlighter or very light colored blush to create highlights. Apply with a clean blush brush to the forehead, jaw line, under-eye triangle area and the nose mouth area of the face.
Then take a slightly darker shade than that of the skin itself and brush some at the temples to slim the face and then along the cheekbone. (The darker shade can also be used underneath the chin and up onto the corners of the jaw line to create a shadow under the face and eliminate the appearance of a double-chin.)
If desired, take an even darker shade and use it to high-light the contours of the cheek bone.
Brush on a small amount of pink at the apple of the cheek for that natural rosy look, but be mindful of the amount used as too much will be unflattering.
Finally, apply a thin layer of chap stick on the lips and cover it with a lip primer or small amount of cover-up to make the lips a neutral color so that when applying colored gloss or lipstick, the color will look the way it does in the tube.
While this sounds like many steps, in reality, it takes only a few minutes and the results are fantastic. More layers of highlight and shadow can be added, as it is the key to creating a flawless finish.
