A smokey eye look helps up the sex appeal to this sexy pirate costume. It may be necessary to purchase some basic essentials to get the right look. Fortunately most things will be found in the closet or borrowed from a friend. Some necessary pirate items may also be used again for future costume parties or for a fun night out.
Cosmetics needed for the Sexy Pirate Costume
- 3 eye shadows: shimmery light pink, taupe, and shimmery black
- Black eyeliner
- Mascara or false eye lashes
- Bronzer and Pink cheek color
- Neutral lip liner
- Mauve lipstick
- Clear shimmery lip gloss
- Makeup brushes and other makeup application tools
Application for Sexy Pirate Costume
- First apply foundation and concealer to cover any imperfections and to even out skin tone. Apply a light layer of powder to set the makeup and keep the makeup on longer.
- This is a smokey eye look for the eyes. Begin by applying the shimmer light pink eye shadow to the brow bone. Also apply the pink shadow to the inner corner of the eyes. Then apply the taupe eye shadow starting at the lash line up into the crease and blend with the shimmery pink eye shadow. Next, take the shimmery black eye shadow and apply to the lid of the eyes. Blend with taupe shadow.
- Using the black eye liner, line the top lashes with a medium think line. Also apply a thinner line to the bottom lashes. Gently blend the bottom lash line with a small makeup brush or a cotton swab.
- Now apply the false eye lashes or a minimum of three coats of mascara.
- Bronze the face and décolleté with the bronzer. Remember, a pirate girl has been out at sea all year! Then apply the pink cheek color to the apples of the cheeks and blend.
- With the Neutral lip liner, line and fill in lips. Apply the mauve lipstick with a lip brush, blending the lipstick with the lip liner. Finish by applying shimmery lip gloss.
For the Sexy Pirate Costume
There are many great pirate costumes available for Halloween. Depending on the wardrobe, that might be the best and most affordable option. Some basic things needed may be fishnet stockings and black heeled boots, ones that go to the knee at least. A bandana will work to cover the head if a pirate hat is not available. Add a sexy black corset and black pleated skirt and the sexy pirate will be out looking for her Hot First Mate!
